Leah Marie Peterson Haile

Hello, I'm Leah Marie Peterson Haile, a dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse turned Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I'm on a mission to support and empower women through a holistic approach to well-being. With a wealth of experience spanning over 12 years in neonatal care and a background in cosmetology and yoga instruction, I've honed a unique blend of skills and expertise to enhance the lives of women in a variety of ways.

My journey began in the world of neonatal care, where I spent over a decade providing compassionate and expert care to newborns and their families in Level II-IV units across the country. This experience has instilled in me a deep sense of empathy, adaptability, and the ability to connect with individuals at various stages of life.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I've expanded my scope to offer therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to individuals of all ages in medication management and psychotherapy. But I didn't stop there—I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and yoga instructor, and I'm excited to integrate these passions into my practice. My vision includes offering telehealth sessions that evolve into community events, where women can exercise together, share their stories, and explore beauty and mind-body integrated experiences. Together, we'll create a supportive village where women can reclaim their confidence, have fun, and embark on a journey to holistic well-being.

Qualifications:

  • 22 months of telehealth experience as a PMHNP student assisting all ages of lifespan in medication management and psychotherapy

  • 2 years of Transformative Nurse Coaching for adults in evaluating well-being status, collaboratively creating

  • 12 years and four months of Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Experience in Level II- IV Units

  • Strengths in assessing, monitoring, detecting, planning, and taking appropriate actions to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment in adult, maternal and neonatal population

  • Flexible and above-average adaptability in surroundings and circumstances in order to maintain high quality and safe nursing care

  • Provide information, instruction, assistance, and support to mothers and families of neonatal patients beginning at 22 weeks gestational age

  • Educate parents of specific disease, disorder, development, nutrition, safety, and care specific to personalized needs of adult and neonatal patients

  • Cross-trained to Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Pediatric Medical/Surgical Units, Labor and Delivery Units, and Postpartum Units

  • Utilized as a resource to prepare for admissions and transpor

  • EPIC, Cerner, Medi-tech, OBTV computerized charting systems
